How to create your own Samsung bada applications?
Different applications can be developed for different functions such as accessing the contact list, sending messages, making phone calls, accessing social networking platforms, sharing photos, etc. Bada operation system is compatible to a wide range of devices as its platform is kernel configurable which implies that it can be run on real time OS kernel or the Linux kernel.
In order to create Samsung bada applications, you need to install the software development kit of bada. Bada software development kit is fairly easy to install and includes bada integrated development environment. If you already have a SDK already and are updating to the newer version, uninstall the earlier version. Once you download the software development kit, run the software, and you will see that the installation wizard running. After that you need to select your preferred language and click on next. As you click on the install button, the software is installed and configured on your computer. The full package contains the supported language packs, hence no separate downloads are needed during the installation. In the future if you require more language packs, just download the language pack installer.
As you start the integrated development kit, you will come across a welcome page that has detailed information on bada and on developing integrated development kit. You also need to generate your customized application profile before you develop your application and for this you need to provide the basic information, including the system requirements. Application id and manifest.xml file is also provided at this step. Once these are done, you can start developing your preferred application.
As the application is ready, you need to pack and upload it for certification. In order to sell your application you need to register the application on the register site, and once it is approved, it shall go for sale. When the application is put for sale, you will not be allowed to edit any of the component parts or application profile.
